In the pulsating heart of Westchester, an electric atmosphere charged with excitement and empowerment enveloped the scene as the Women Who Dare to Be Different Gala took center stage.
 Now celebrating its monumental 10th anniversary, this gathering served as a testament to the indomitable spirit of the exceptional women reshaping our world.
As the lights danced and anticipation hung thick in the air, the room buzzed with anticipation. Among the luminaries present, William Wagstaff III, Esq., commanded attention with his impassioned words, igniting a fire within the hearts of all present.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. In a moment that left jaws dropped and hearts aflutter, Colby was met with a heartfelt declaration from New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins on March 30, 2024.
The pinnacle of the evening arrived with the presentation of the prestigious Barbra Watson Perry Award to Dr. Belinda Miles, a towering figure in the educational realm. Alongside her, Evangelist Carol Townsend, Shirley Lui, Joanne Dunn, Jan Fisher, Latifa Williams, Dr. Alexandria Connally, and Sheree Ferguson were honored for their unwavering commitment to excellence and progress.
Guiding the festivities with grace and charm, Rev. Angela Davis-Farrish presided as Mistress of Ceremonies, ensuring each moment was infused with reverence and recognition of women’s integral role in shaping our collective destiny.
And let’s not forget the shining stars of tomorrow: Brianna Benjamin, Maya McKenzie, and Leah Charity-Spriggs, whose youthful exuberance and boundless potential lit up the room and inspired hope for the future.
