As HARLEM WEEK celebrates its 52nd Anniversary, thousands of visitors will gather to honor the culture, history, and spirit of Harlem. The Harlem Tourism Board invites travelers to participate in the Cultural Oneness Festival in Northern Ghana, December 7–17, for a historic ten-day journey to the Motherland.
More than a vacation, this experience offers an opportunity to reconnect with African heritage while building friendships that cross oceans and generations. Participants will enjoy traditional festivals, cultural performances, village visits, educational exchanges, authentic cuisine, and meaningful conversations with community leaders and traditional chiefs.
The Cultural Oneness Festival celebrates the values that unite us all—family, community, respect, and cultural pride. Visitors will experience centuries-old traditions through music, dance, storytelling, arts and crafts, and ceremonies that continue to shape the cultural identity of Northern Ghana.

I am honored to serve as President of the Harlem Tourism Board, a co-founder of HARLEM WEEK, now celebrating its 52nd Anniversary as one of the largest cultural festivals on the East Coast, and as a traditional Chief of Manwule Village in Northern Ghana. I also serve as an advisor to the Cultural Oneness Festival, working to strengthen the cultural and educational bonds between Harlem, the African diaspora, and the people of Ghana.
