Description

An exciting new musical has started previews at the Schoefeld Theatre at 236 W 45th Street, “Buena Vista Social Club,” which has a book by Mario Ramirez, is developed and directed by Saheem Ali, has exciting, marvelous choreography by Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck. The new musical is inspired by true events and shows you the heart of Cuba, telling the story of the legends who lived and created the musical sounds of Havana. The cast features Wesley Wray (Young Ibrahim); Isa Antonetti (Young Omara; Leonardo Reyna (Young Ruben); Da’Von T. Moody (Compay); Ashley De La Rosa (Young Haydee); Julio Monge (Young Compay); Mel Seme (Ibrahim); Jainardo Batiste Sterling (Ruben) and ensemble members Sophia Ramos; Angelica Beliard; Andrew Montgomery Coleman and Anthony Smalls
