DESCRIPTION:Exploring The Billie’s musical roots and in homage to its namesake – the legendary Billie Holiday. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn honor of what would be Lady Day’s 110th birthday\, the final performance of the music series in recognition of National Jazz Appreciation Month will feature a jazz vocalist. \nCo-curated with veteran journalist\, TV/Film writer\, and producer Bonsu Thompson\, the series features the next generation of great female vocalists\, and instrumentalists\, DJs across various musical genres from contemporary Jazz to Rhythm & Blues to Hip-Hop and beyond. \nDoors open at 7 PM. Show starts at 8 PM. Seating is first come\, first served.
