On February 17th, during an interview on CBS This Morning, influencer Garry V said something powerful: AI isn’t here to destroy us — it’s here to multiply time. That perspective matters.
Every generation faces a shift that feels threatening. We moved from newspapers and handbills to dial-up internet. Then came Myspace (2003), LinkedIn (2003), Facebook (2004), YouTube (2005), Twitter (2006), Instagram (2010), and TikTok (2016). Each one disrupted something. Each one rewarded those who adapted.
The tractor replaced farm labor when most Americans worked in agriculture. Electricity was feared. Yet new industries emerged, and productivity expanded. This is the pattern of history.
AI is simply today’s version.
We have already been using it — voice assistants, predictive text, and automation. Now that it’s visible, fear feels louder. But the marketing blueprint never changes: visibility, value, trust.
Tools evolve. Principles remain.
If AI allows me to organize my thoughts, refine my language, gather data, and save hours each week, why would I reject it? Guided intentionally, it enhances my voice rather than replaces it.
Spiritually, adaptation is not a lack of faith. Trusting Jehovah includes using wisdom. Change tests whether we panic or steward opportunity.
During Women’s Month, let us lead with discernment. Pivot without losing purpose. Embrace tools without surrendering identity.
The goal was never exhaustion. The goal is freedom.
